The Chilcot Inquiry heard that just ten days before the invasion of Iraq Mr Blair was told Saddam had no way of using weapons of mass destruction.

And weapons experts revealed that the former Prime Minister took Britain to war based on intelligence that his own spies rated just 'four out of ten' for accuracy.

On the eve of the conflict, intelligence chiefs told Mr Blair that the Iraqi dictator had no warheads capable of delivering chemical weapons, dramatically undermining the Prime Minister's case for war.

Yet Mr Blair gave the go-ahead for the invasion despite strong evidence that Iraq was no threat to Britain.

Then, after the war, officials had to tell Mr Blair not to 'declare success too rapidly' in the quest to find WMD in Iraq as he continued to make misleading statements claiming that 'massive evidence' had been found.

Blair along with Bush should both be tried for treason and war crimes and lynched as soon as they're found guilty

no time machine... they're just having some sort of inquiry in the UK to determine who knew what and when. it seems so far that all the people who were saying that WMDs were just an excuse to steal oil and topple saddam were right.

no, you just hopped into reality

Did I hop in a Delorean? I just feel like I'm in 2003 or soemthing

Yes you did. Kurt Cobain is still alive. And Clinton only served two years before being kicked out of office. Where Jeb Bush ran and lost, only to lose by George Bush. Al Gore is working at Sea World and got fired for giving some speech and they deemed him unfit to work around sealife from his.... eerie attraction to them and their water temperature. Hillary married Janet Reno in Massachusetts and currently live on Easter Island.

Fox News was renamed Rabbit News. CNN went into bankruptcy.

And the show 24 added two extra hours and now called 26!

Welcome to 2003!

(This kids, is why if you ever invent and can use a time machine, you never alter history. Even if that altering is just killing a ant and stepping in someone's rosebush.Trust me, I should know, look how the years have been since 1992! Why oh why did I step on that rose bush and steal someone's mail from the past? Dammit!)

Yes. What do think about that terrible SARS thing going around? My personal opinion is that it will kill everyone on earth. :2 cents:

I know it's really sad...

Just when I was getting over the Marlins winning the World Series...

Yeah, I remember when I went back in time to when Hitler was 14. I gave him a wedgie and then stepped on his nuts and pissed on him all while yelling, "long live the jews!" I bet he learned his lesson

If you haven't seen Micheal Moore's great documentary film Fahrenheit 9/11, I highly recommend it

i watched it, and while i am far from being a neocon i have to say that i find mr moore's work unethical.

a documentary maker should set out to document something, regardless of what he might unearth. like a scientist must accept the outcome of an experiment, good or bad.

mr moore however seems to form an opinion FIRST and then sets out to only show things that support his particular point of view, while ignoring everything else. that is ok in a movie, but he shouldn't call it a documentary.

Thank you!!! I don't care what your political party is, but Michael Moore is not a documentarian! After that movie was released quite a few of his interviewees had stated that he edited their conversations to make it look like they all opposed the war and hated George Bush.

In Bowling for Columbine, Matt Stone had been interviewed about violence and he said when he watched the movie, they edited all the parts out where he expressed pro-gun sentiments.

I don't have very much respect for Moore

^ you don't know what you are talking about. All that is a bunch of hearsay, rumor and counter intel

whatever, Fahrenheit 9/11 proves that Iraq had no WMDs and Bush lied about that in order to invade Iraq to steal their oil wealth

Holy shit! That was hilarious! I will rep you first chance I get to again :hatsoff:

Wow. When you come out of your basement and realize that the whole world isn't filled with conspiracies and plots by every politician to rule the world, your life will be a lot easier.

I'm not saying it's just Michael Moore doing stuff like that, it's almost every documentary that has a political agenda. Why would you release a film that goes against what you're trying to prove? It's not good business

Oh and thank you whimsy! :glugglug:

I think of Justin Long's character from Die Hard 4 when it comes to Hellraiser. He thinks he has a grasp on it all but really his grasp is about as big as his computer screen...

Yes, yes... I know, Hellraiser. I'm such a "neocon" and I don't know what I am talking because of my "neocon" mindset. Because you know exactly what my mindset is....

So save the time of quoting this and leave it be. :hatsoff:

ARe you kidding me? Michael Moore's documentary has produced good results not only for him but for those who watch his documentary with an open mind no matter how much NeoCons try to descredit him by making lame ass personal attacks against him. My niece wanted to join the Marines really bad and ironically both of my older Evangelical Conservative brothers didn't want her to join. They tried talking sense into her by telling her not to enlist and she was adamant about joining no matter what they told her. I didn't say anything to her, all I did was hand her a Fahrenheit 9/11 dvd and after she watched it she changed her mind about joining once she saw the criminality committed by the Bush administration by using our troops as pawns to make the rich richer by stealing from the poor both in Iraq and the U.S.

I'm not saying they were right for going into Iraq. I don't believe we should have ever gone over there. All I was saying when I talked about Michael Moore and other documentary film makers is that you have to take pretty much everything they have on there with a grain of salt. It is so easy to edit what is said on film. Those people should be held accountable for misleading viewers just as Bush was for misleading America. I bet Obama will do the same thing as well with other things. It's typical politics. It has been going on since America's beginning and way before that.

I agree that it is important to be skeptical and for one to their own homework and I'd also add that people do their own research to confirm or debunk what they see in the news or in documentaries.

Michael Moore does a great job at backing up his opinion with facts and even cites his sources. I'm glad that he makes social commentary through his films and challenges the corrupted power structure and the mainstream corporate media that doesn't do its journalism job responsibly, ethically and professionally.
