Bigfoot and lake monsters, beware: There's a price on your heads.

Binocular manufacturer Bushnell, along with "Field & Stream" magazine, have teamed up to offer $1 million to anyone who can "provide an unaltered photograph/video, verified and substantiated by a panel of scientific experts [including a zoologist and biologist], the evidence required to prove a Sasquatch/Bigfoot/Yeti exists."

The contest started a few days ago and ends Dec. 15, but before heading out to claim your million, note that the rules' fine print states that they are not liable for any injury incurred during a Bigfoot attack. A good quality Bigfoot image would make history; most photos are of such consistently poor quality that within the Bigfoot research community there's even a name for a typical blurry "Bigfoot" image: blobsquatch.

me and my friend are going after him after we graduate.
we both like hunting for deer and stuff, and we always joked about doing it, but one day we just figured, what the hell, let's have some fun.
so in about two years we are gonna go for it. take our guns, video cameras, digital cameras, and our knives (in case we need hand to hand combat).
and a stereo, apparently he is attracted to kids laughing, so hopefully we can get that on a CD and lure him in, and injure him and trap him.

it will be fun, even though he probably doesn't exist.

All this time, and all the technology we have, and all the hunters that run around up there, as well as hikers, sightseers, photographers, etc., and we have not ever had ONE decent photo/video/film of the thing?

Unfortunately, while the mythology is cool as hell, the reality is, there is no animal that size that could or would elude us for this long.

check out the patterson footage taken in 67' it's to date the best proof yet. The problem is that there are too many goofballs taking crap photos stating that they've spotted the crature.

When I see stuff about bigfoot and other monsters I still can't beleive that photos and videos that was taking showing them that were since proven fake. I often wonder though what will happen if these creatures do exist cause you may get nutters that might want to hunt them down and kill them so my guess is they may be put them on the endangered species list.

I would love to learn that one of these monsters exists, but I fear that we would kill it.

Is it really possible to proove that something does not exist ?
