While I would agree Dark Sde is not the best I think the stuff that they did previous to that was better and the stuff previous was better than anything they did after. My favorite would be "The Piper at the gates of Dawn".Best song would be "Astronomy Domine" from that album.My:2 cents:

I am also not a big fan of Pink Floyd music (simply I had not listen all of their albums, so it is hard to judge for me), but I was *deeply* impressed with the movie "The Wall". The way it looks (montage, the way it filmed, and all the touch) makes me to think that it was created in 90's, and I was shocked to know that it is such an old one!

it is little bit offtopic, but I wanted to express my attitude towards that movie for a long time.

if you think that im guesing you prolly realy havent listened to much Pink floyd ;)

No I have not listened to any other Pink Floyd songs.

If a song is not played on the radio or made into a music video than I probably have not heard of it

Well you gotta remember they were around before vids were popular. They have a bunch of clips on YouTube. And before Dark side of the moon they would not have been heard on any top 40 type radio station. So most have never heard the early stuff.Based on the two songs you say you like the early stuff would probably not be to your liking, its kinda trippy. And thats what they were in the 60s an acid band.Dark side of the moon was when they got more produced and more commercial which appealed to a lot more of an audience but that is not to say they were not still kinda out there lol.And yeah the wall the movie Is awesome. And best live performance was one they did in Pompei.

By "the wall" I'm guessing you mean "Another Brick In The Wall Part 2" since that's the song from the album The Wall that they play on the radio the most

is easily Animals :nanner:

followed by the division bell
dark side of the moon is overated..... and the wall is even more overated, just my thoughts :)

Although I'll admit that it has some great songs on it, I don't even count The Division Bell as a full fledged Pink Floyd album because it only has two of the original members on it, Richard Wright and Nick Mason.
On Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall being overrated, you have to understand that not only are their two most popular singles off those albums, but they're also the two albums that most people get introduced to first.

Me, I can't pick a favorite album. I have songs I love off of every album. Though I do have to admit that the Syd Barrett and early David Gilmour years produced most of my favorites. Back when they would have albums with one track being a ten minute jam sessions.

Hard to pick just one, my favourites are "Wish You Were Here", "Dark Side Of The Moon" and "Meddle" (probably in this order, I'd say).

I like the wall album that's my favorite.

havent heard em all but i have to say dark side of the moon

I'm a huge Floyd fan so picking one is tough, but I just love how over the top Atom Heart Mother is.

Now for my favorite single... "One of These Days..." or "Sheep". No one is to say they don't care for Floyd until they've heard these tracks.

"Oh and by the way, which one's Pink?"
