Wether in TV series, in Movies, Streaming platforms... scenes with chases between various kinds of cars, trucks, bikes, boats, etc. make for great entertainment.

This is the thread for sharing your favorite scenes, and please comment what makes the specific scene stand out.

I will kick things off with a classic one:

I love the music, the laconic lines of the Blues Brothers, and the insane level of mayhem that keeps happening.

There are others but these are the best ever ...

The French Connection (1971) with Gene Hackman and stuntman Bill Hickman. Fernando Rey is in the train car.

Bullitt (1968) with Steve McQueen, Paul Genge and stuntman Bill Hickman.

And the best one in my opinion...

The Seven-Ups (1973) with Roy Scheider, Richard Lynch and stuntman Bill Hickman.

There are loads you could choose from F&F, but the vault one from Fast Five is spectacular.

"Gone in 60 Seconds" - with Nicolas Cage. And, Eleanor! Sick at 4:39, where the wrecking ball knocks a police cruiser through a wall!

Say what you will about the quality of the movies, but you have to give it to them for their unique car chases:

One of the greatest movies EVER! Duel, with Dennis Weaver and an unknown psycho. If I ever hit a big enough lottery to have a car collection, I'm adding a 1955 Peterbilt model 281 "needlenose" to my collection. Of course I don't want a cherry nicely restored version, I want a rat like in the movie.

I have to check Prime. I can swear I just saw this movie listed. I remember seeing it as a ***, and that was long ago, so I really need to rewatch this flick. I just recently rewatched "Duel", and "Maximum Overdrive". That's where the trucks eased into my collection....there's more then one I want. I have to check for "Bullet", and "McQ" with The Duke.

The Vanishing Point (1997)

Viggo Mortensen (1970 Challenger R/T) vs. Steve Railsback (1968 Charger R/T)

I would love to ask for a favor:

Please post just one video per post. Otherwise this threads is getting too random. Make it actually best-of, the very best.

Here is a nice one, from 'Live & Let Die', the clip starts just shy of James Bond jumping into the boat, below, I will post the url to the full clip...

I found it on Amazon Prime, and watched it. A good movie, with some really bad acting. I think the thing that disturbs me the most about these old movies, is how little regard they have for all of those cars....which back then weren't the classics they are today, but still it hurts to see them mangle so many nice rides.
