Best album of 2010

Kanye West's 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' is THE best album of 2010. I just listened to it and I recommended you go out and get it. Even if you think Kaye is an idiot, as do I, it doesn't change the fact that he makes some good music.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs.
The Black Keys - Brothers.
LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening.

I'm not sure if you were asking for opinions, but these are in fact, the best albums of 2010.

I'd also add:

The National - High Violet
Grinderman - Grinderman 2
Gil Scott-Heron - I'm New Here

I'm not the biggest Kanye fan musically speaking (what he does outside of that I could really care less about) but I'll give this album a go as it is garnering a lot of praise at the moment.

Kanye's put out some good albums, but he has to be the most over rated/hyped artist of all time. If that album is the best album of the year, I've lost all hope in music and it's listeners.

What???? How is Hendrix's Valleys of Neptune not number 1? That album was kick ass and I was waiting a few months for it in anticipation.

Would'nt have the slightest clue, since I really gave up on checking into new stuff since Napster ended. Plus, with like 1000 CDs sitting in my room, it's hard for me to really embrace new shit esspecially when I always wind up back listening to Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, or some of my rap stuff.

The only albums I realy cared about this year are lil Wyte - Bad Influence and Kid Rock's new CD - Born Free. Nothing that's going to break any real records for originality by any means, but that Wyte bumps hard, and that Rock is really a solid fucking album all around even though it's sooooo ripoffie. :2 cents:

I'd like to add Horse Feathers' "Thistled Spring" and Shearwater's "The Golden Archipelago."

I think Kanye could go away any time and there would be no hole to fill.

How much Auto-Tune and or samples did he use this time?

I will put it this way: As he twiddled the pitch intesity knob towards 10 and crossed the 9.5, he started sounding like La Bieber

So he left it at 9 :1orglaugh

And he has a secret weapon: His nephew who has special needs and lives in Kanye's basement is hummoing all day, he tapes him and plays the tapes to the producer, who writes those lines down.

Makes for super material.

Back on topic.

I like Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' best. A deluxe version was just released. Even one version on USB stick. She keeps innovatin'
