November 17, 1944 - September 2, 2020

Career: 311-205 W-L 2.86 ERA with 10 seasons of 200 or more strikeouts. 198 wins with the Mets. At the time, he set a MLB record of 19 strikeouts in a game (April 22, 1970 against the San Diego Padres.) Since surpassed by Roger Clemens (twice), Kerry Wood, Max Scherzer and Randy Johnson with 20. He had one no-hitter with the Cincinnati Reds.
