Are women more "open" than men

It`s generally said that women are more "open" with their girlfriends than men are with their menfriends in terms of discussing their sexlives. Do you find this is the case? As a bloke I can`t see me or my mates chatting about our own sexlives (although I`d like to overhear one or two women I know doing so...(

Eh... I've known some guys who could go into graphic detail about a particular sexual encounter. Although, by and large, they tended to be bragging about it rather than confiding about it, which is more what women tend to do. So maybe that's the key difference.
