Are people still going on Pornhub?

I'd find it surprising to believe given everything that's happened in late 2020. Back then, you can find almost anything on Pornhub. Now, it's hard to find pretty much anything for a particular taste you're looking for. Like, you can't search for something specific like "lesbians in high heels". Now all the videos on the site are from porn studios and OnlyFans models who tells you that you have to subscribe to their OnlyFans account for the full video. Plus, Pornhub Premium is just as useless only showing videos from the studios only. And worse the PornPortal tab where it has the premium sites such as Reality Kings and Twistys, that's now gone. Now Pornhub is nothing but a shell of its former self and it's hard to find a decent alternative.

I recall using it a couple of times, over the past couple of months. I think in June, when I was prepping content for my July 4th posts? But, yeah - from what I remember, it was useless / I could not find what I was looking for.

I stopped using it when they wouldn't let you download videos. Plus, yeah it become mostly amateur models.

All points well-taken. PH is like XV and the like out of self-preservation. Porn is continuing to change, and to adapt to an online world. It's like what cable TV has become in the wake of video streaming. The days of video variety and niche representation are gone. The free video sites fear the authorities and litigation more than they desire your CC number. They make more from click revenue and site creator endorsements than that. So get used to seeing more 4-minute, low quality teasers from porn distributors, and fewer homemade or even small fry studio uploads. To me, PH, XV, SB, XH and the rest are nothing more than idea fodder so that I can go and find the good quality stuff from other sources. Oh...you like amateur vids? Too bad. Theirs suck...what little they have. You'll have to pay for that too. My advice with that? Make your own.

Since the New York Times article of human trafficking came out where Mindgeek and Pornhub were named as defendants along with owners Michael James Pratt, Mathew Isaac Wolfe; actors Ruben Andre Garcia and Douglas Wiederhold; videographer Theodore Gyi, and secretary Valorie Moser (all of G-D-P) they have all been sentenced or are awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty. -- both PH sites (premium and free) are useless. Besides the hundreds of thousands of videos that were taken down because of the G-D-P incident because there are thousands of unverified members/users who uploaded content -- the ability to upload pictures was also not allowed. People spent years -- I mean years -- creating very nice picture galleries. As pictures were also taken down, it is all for naught. (Members or ex-members of adult websites who put up those pictures don't own the content, they are users of the content.) Thus they are gone too.

I've heard multiple things.
Verified members who used it to gain a fanbase and get some coin (Khajit has wares) no longer find it useful. (Payout changed? No longer promoted in searches? More reasons but why beat a dead horse)

If you're looking for anything FRESH or amateur or.. want something that isnt franchise-porn, go to recent uploads and you'll find the goods. AT LEAST for a few hours until they delete it.

They've gone the way of Tumblr, basically. What once was huge (AND GREAT FOR SEX WORKERS!) is now... crap. Still useful for another year or two, I predict.

I think what I'll miss is that Pornhub will never get to be the "YouTube of Porn". Like, it doesn't have to be all porn all the time. There are other ways to have adult variety without dealing with the restriction and monetization ordeal of YouTube. You could have Sex Ed guides, naked streaming, adult game let's plays, documentaries, old reruns. I could go on and on.

When they were doing live cam shows ... they had one server just for that. Yes surprisingly they did. You had to find the areas on the site where they were housed. LiveJasmin, Bonga Cams and Camsoda at one time were affiliated with Pornhub. Not sure, if they still are. But they were.

Like @maildude99 was saying, their time has passed.

By the way, after I logged into Brazzers the other day, what's with all the advertisements? They roll by pretty fast too. Besides being distracting and very annoying. Please get me to the members area! I don't want to see all this stuff. Now the reason for me writing this. There was an advertisement for LetDoeIt and a prechecked box to join up. I'm already a member of LetsDoeIt. But separately, not under Brazzers. Had I left the page intact and moved to anywhere on the Brazzers website; my credit card on file would have been charged the $29.95/mo or so. So before I left the page, I unchecked it and I proceeded onto and greater things on the Brazzers site [to look up Angela White content.]

Just be aware of all these advertisements along with these hidden and (now) secret enroll/join boxes embedded in the Mindgeek / Aylo owned websites.

I still use it for Tessa Tasty, Ani Astra, PeachyCatSnack, kikideez, Miss Calcium Can, BloodSweatDannie, Shakicast, FUcktotum, Shy-Princess, Kukina-squirts, Kendra Heart and GypsyDoe.

That list used to have 2x as many, but ppl left. Or simply havent made a video in years. Mattie Doll, off the top of my head.

Back in the day, the brick and mortar video stores was where I purchased content. Defective DVDs were frequent. I've sent money orders to Hot Mail's post office box in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, along with a list of titles. It worked. I've purchased content via CD Universe and Adult Empire. The most reliable vendor of porn content that I've found is AEBN. They had a glitch in processing recently with the same computer trouble airlines had, yet, they recovered quickly and got the payment processing working again. If you are on Chrome, use the incognito mode. If that doesn't work, then clear your cache and browser history. See if that may help.

Does anyone know if it's true that Porn Hub is one of the only tube sites where a performer can make residuals/ passive money?? I know they have a pretty good plan for this for performers as most pornstars can't make money once they get to the tube site part of the scene.
