so i was talking to my friend who works on the sales floor at cingular, the man is a cell phone guru. he told me he tried a little experiment with his phone. First when he bought the phone, he charged it all night an had it continuously charging. Within a week the battery would only last him a few hrs, 4 max. Then he got a new battery and at first charged it completely. Then just use the phone an wait till the battery almost ran out an then would charge fully again, an continue and repeat. Turns out, when you charge the second way, your getting the most battery out of your phone because you 'over fry' the battery when you continously charge.

Just something for thought
 
can't say anything than a congrats to Apple for another stylish design!
 
it looks fantastic and 8 gig too!! but i would like to see how good the battery is as that phone looks battery intensive and apple don't have a good record in battery longevity.

It would seem apple have done it again.:)
 
wow that is sooooo cool. Finally, a gadget that is not cumbersome. I do, however doubt that Apple will be able to cram enough processing power into such a small device to make the demo actually come true
