Anyone Have A Favorite Sports Team that is Consistantly an Underdog?

For me it would have to be the Houston Astros or as they are fondly called, the Lastros. For hockey it was always the Calgary Flames . So the question is out there, who is still your favorite team that hasn't been labled a dynasty and is the constant butt of jokes, but you still have some form of dedication to them.

Soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets. That's going to take some getting used to.

I'm originally from St. Louis. I still follow the Blues. I think they are currently the team with the longest time to have not won a Stanley Cup. Going on 45 years starting this season.

When I was growing up, the Cincinnati Reds had what was arguably the best lineup of all time.
The last 20 or so years, though have been pretty brutal.

Toronto Maple Leafs. It's fucking infuriating. They are the highest grossing team, they are top spenders on salaries, and they haven't even made the playoffs for 7 years, soon to be 8. Even though they've changed coaches and such, they will never change their formula to a winning formula until the fans stop buying tickets and so forth. As long as they are making money (and they're making plenty), they'll keep on being shit. Haven't won the Stanley Cup in 45 years.

In other words, they make money, and don't give a fuck about their fans. Fuck the fucking fuckers.
(go Leafs)

It was quite the struggle watching the Broncos during the 1960s. Hopefully this year, they will be as shitty as they were in the 60s.

Carolina Panthers. They were only mind-numbingly horrible in '98, '01 and 2010 but have mostly been middle of the road with the occasional good season thrown in to maintain people's interest.

Manchester United, so no.

if you mean underdogs in the eyes of the media, id have to say my new jersey devils. with the exception of half of last year and missing the playoffs in 95-96, they have been a consistently good team year after year but get ZERO respect from the media. especially on vs (or whatever it is now)... theyre always playing second fiddle to any other flash in the pan team of the moment. you can of course say its their style or system that makes them win... and id say its a bullshit argument. if you can hold a team to 6 shots in the playoffs (as they did to the maple leafs), youre doing something right. the whole point of the game is to win, and they get zero respect for doing so.

The White Sox?
