First off thanx for attempting to help!! so here's my problem I am having a very hard time determining if my favorite band supports communism or what their politcal stance can be defined as what political view point..
the band- Rage Against the Machine- I believe they are anarchists, and don't support communism.. but in a alot of their cd (guts) insides of the cd covers, they include books by che' guevara etc.. and someone said that their adornment of che' guevara is a distinct sign of them being and supporting communism..
then if this is the case why do they share such strong relationship and friendship with the likes of the Beastie Boys, Chuck D of public enemy?? and other political bands etc..
rage against the machine is definately anti-government but what form of power do they invision as the peoples power?? I have read google accounts of their political beliefs and viewpoints and its quite confusing with the all the ramifications and all the conjecture of the socialistic aspect and all of the other sub-catagories of every political ideology, socialism, conservatism, liberal, left-wing, right-wing, capitolism, they all intersect and have different roles in just about every political classification?? so somebody who knows all the difference's and all the literal meanings of each political ideology could you please help interpret this for me and I am sure alot of other confused people scratching their heads..
p.s. I even went into the RATM official website and asked a similar question and I got about 5 different political viewpoints RATM alegedly believe in and their political ideology is from this politcal belief???? well which one is it??? they had atleast 5 different answers of different classification of political backing.. thanx I would certainly apreciate anybodies clarifications on this issue.. :dunno:
