Anybody Ever Have A Pet Bobcat Or Any Other Kind Of Wild Animal As A Pet?

Cats are cool as long as you want to spend more on lint rollers than you do food for them. Walking around covered in cat hair is gross. Almost inevitable if you have 1

I was thinking that a skunk looks like it would be a neat pet. They're ugly yet cute at the same time.

I once had a sorsa (duck), but it flew away.

My backyard doubles as a type of animal sanctuary. I'll feed any animal that's hungry. The only rule is that they are peaceful. I have cats, raccoons, squirrels, and skunks. There was a litter of skunks hanging out in my back yard last Summer that would come to me when I put food out. They were very cute and I was happy to feed them.

I don't have any pets, but if I did as a general rule I would never get a pet that could look to something my size as a potential meal, especially if I have to sleep near it. :1orglaugh

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I have bears, bobcats, (some say) mountain lions, deer, skunks, rabbits, squirrels and coyotes (including some that are hybrid wolf mixes) around my house. I'm cool with them and they're cool with me - but we give each other respectable distance. Me no fuckey with the wild creatures. They've survived for as long as they have because of strong instincts. And all it takes is some odd/random event to make them revert to their natural state... and you're on the way to the hospital with bite and scratch wounds if you think of them as domesticated house pets.

For the EMPEROR!!
No, can't say I have, but I'd love to have this big old baby as a pet.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I had a wolf hybrid for a short time. I took him, only o find him a home, as the owner would have probably just shot him. I had him for a month, while he was about 8 months old. He was huge, and tested me at every step. I found him a home with a couple of acres, and when Mischief reached full maturity at 2 years old, snapped, and had to be put down. The guy I got him from, a friend, VERY distant now, but still a friend, should have never been allowed to have this animal in the first place. He didn't treat him well, and did EVERYTHING wrong, when trying to coexist with an animal, let alone something wild. Mischief, was 85% timber wolf, and 15% Belgian Shepard, and at 8 months had paws as big as my fists...which are pretty big, I guess, was head high to my waist...my pcture is on here, and I'm probably shorter now then back then, and he had the SOFTEST fur, I have ever snuggled. It's a shame he never had the chance to be the good dog he could have been.

Having said that, I would never seek an exotic animal for a pet, nor would I buy something with a pedigree....the pound is full of fur balls that need love.
