Any way to save streaming video????

Here’s what I did:

Go to your Internet Explorer tool bar(File, Edit, View, Favorites, etc.):

Tools>Internet Options>General>Temporary Internet Files>Settings>View Files>Scroll down to bottom>It should be a video clip icon called “2006-02-07[2]”

I suggest that you do not open or use any internet explorer browsers so that you can easily find the clip.

It should be the last one in “View Files” *if no other browsers are used.

Hope this helps and thank you so mucho!!!!! It was worth the wait(I have dial up).:)

nah, much easier than all that. just open windows media player.
go to "file" and select "open url"
type in

*edit* Do not share files. It is O.K. to explain how to save files, but do not share files. Please read the board rules. Thanks.

then let it load (it will play before it finishes loading)
then click "save as"
try changing the date in the url backwards. last i checked it went back like a full month

oh make sure to right click on the link i put in, and copy the link location dont just copy and paste the text.
note the "..." in the middle of the text

Wow, sweet! Thanks jomammax22. That's a much better way to do it. But, how did you find out what the actual video link url itself would be. I have a hard time finding stuff like that out, so that's why I did it my way for a long time.

But the easier way is the better way!:hatsoff:

My bad, your link was great to. So thanks Priapus. :) I was just wondering how on earth jomammax22 was able to find the link for the actual movie clip itself. Because it's hard to do what your link says, if you don't have the movie clip link. At least, I was dumb and couldn't find it.:D :)

ahh, i didnt read his link.
i just clicked on "view"
then "page source" (i belive its "view source" in internet explorer)
then with the HTML code exposed in note pad i did a search for "wmv"
i assumed it was a wmv file, most pages are.
that brought me right to the link.
i dunno if thats what his link instructed you to do, but thats how i did it... im not a RTFM kinda guy hehe
glad to help

^that's a useful link but i think the content is validated (moderated). So perhaps adult material would not be accepted :dunno:
