Or anybody who would know a thing or two about it?
I'm moving at the end of the month and am curious as to what the etiquette is regarding holes in the wall from pictures and **** and general cleanliness/damages after I depart. Besides the picture holes, there is a couple holes from darts gone astray and my cat scratched up the balcony door frame pretty rough, but I plan on sanding that down nice and smooth. Also, there was no security deposit when I first came here. I know I could ask him about this ****, but he's kind of a cunt and if I could get out of here without having to deal with him about trivial things like picture holes, I'd rather take that route. I feel like filling in tiny ass holes is a bit too much to ask of someone, no? I just want to drop the keys off and not have to worry about this guy calling me a couple days later saying, "ya uhhhhhhhhh there's some holes in ze wall and uhhhhhhhhh we're going to have to replace the whole wall uhhhhhhhhhh ya call me back."
Also, I don't want to clean this place either. I'm assuming most places will professionally clean apartments after their tenants have left. They're gonna have to.
And no this isn't my first apartment, but the previous ones were joke management. Me and a roommate stole an entire wooden door when we moved out and never heard anything about it.
Anyway...your thoughts?
