Anxiety?

Anxiety. What is this bullshit?
No just kidding, well sort of. Part of me feels that way.

Consider this thread somewhat of a rant but perhaps some of you can share your knowledge and feelings.Perhaps it may even turn into a sort of cyber group therapy session, but whom I kidding it will more likely just turn int an argument. Lets hope not.

Anxiety. Am I the only one encountering this term a real lot lately?
Seems everyone I meet has "Anxiety Issues" these days.
Now see, I also have anxiety. I have anxiety over a very real situation in my life.
But today it seems a very very lot of people have anxiety.

Is it just me noticing or experiencing this?

Lets face it the phrase "Everyone has problems" is bullshit.
Some people have it much easier than others in life.
Some of us have had to work for everything they have and have had while others seem to just skate through life not a care in the world while everything just comes easy to them. Easy, cheap, or totally free. Some have lived through tragedy or many tragedies and serious challenges while others never had to lift a finger for anything.

One thing I have noticed about the many people I have met in recent times who claim to be suffering from anxiety is that they've never really had any real responsibility in their lives other than paying for that car they can't afford in the 1st place.
Most have never lived on their own. Never had to pay rent or bills. And have never lived through any real tragedy in their lives. Basically most are single and have never moved out of their parents house. Yet they have anxiety and so bad they need medication for it.

It bothers me. To me these people are like those people who wear War Decorations on their uniforms that they bought on ebay.
There are people out there with major serious problems. Real things. Life and death problems.
Stuff that will cause real actual anxiety.
Yet we have all these people, men and women, walking around saying they suffer from anxiety when most have never even had to pay an electric bill.
Its like an entire generation of completely helpless people.
I mean what's, the deal, with that?

Many of my fellow Westsiders are huge candy asses. They got it so good they can't take the least bit of inconvenience. They live in Southern California but still complain about the weather. If there is no one to offend them they get mad and offended for other people and wring their hands about that. Be a fly on the wall in the back of the house at my local Walgreen's and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I sort of get where you're coming from, but anxiety comes in many forms.
Lots of rich people actually have miserable lives. They're often surrounded by users and phonies and are often driven by anxiety to stay on top. So while they may seem to have things "easy" that's not necessarily the case.
Both of my parents are rather anxious people. I seem to have picked up some of that just by osmosis.
To me the worst kind of anxiety is that produced by poor, disabling health. There's not much most of us can't overcome so long as we're healthy. But when we're not...oh man life gets incredibly hard...and anxiety ridden.

So I personally, suffer from social anxiety I incredibly awkward I cannot flow a conversation. I usually find myself stuttering and feeling very uncomfortable. When I feel super overwhelmed, I take anti-anxiety pills (more info on them on Online pharmacy website) . But I think that medication should be used as a last resort only.

I have it too but not so bad. I used to get nervous a lot when talking to especially older people. But that might be normal.
Now I have it sometimes too but its probably more stress related.
I didnt mean to disparage anybody here, I do think a lot of people who say they have anxiety are full of shit and need to grow up or something but I do know many people have real anxiety issues as well and it can be very serious.
