I feel obligated to vote for Evil Dead 2, only because I haven't seen Hellraiser.

The first Hellraiser and Hellraiser II are classics... but don't bother with the other sequels.

Part 3 was garbage.

I feel obligated to vote for Evil Dead 2, only because I haven't seen Hellraiser.

This guy discovers a magic box / cube contraption that when unlocked releases demons from hell; i.e. Pinhead and friends. They specialize in torturing and tormenting souls for eternity.

Evil Dead 2 was good... but I think the slapstick comedy went a little overboard.

I liked both of them, but if forced to choose, I would probably take Hellraiser 2. It's more of a horror movie than a spoof, and the bonus is the cute little blonde puzzle solver. Her name is Imogen Boorman. She was the perfect innocent blonde teen back in those days.

I still liked the Evil Dead movies, but they can't compare to the cuteness of Imogen.
