In my opinion, her real life issues are what made her music stand out. There is something about musicians with personal issues and flaws that just comes to life in their music. Amy was no exception, and I don't think there is a coincidence that almost all of the really great musicians have major issues and quirks.

cant say im the least bit surprised. She was known for her drug habits, never wanted help, her enabler husband wasnt helping anything, and now this has happend. I hope people take notes from this about what drugs can do to you

Was my first thought exactly. A LOT of greats died at 27, and while I wouldn't put her in the same as Cobain, Morrison or Hendrix, I think she had talent.
