Do you think the world has a better view of the average American today?
I think the world has an entirely ass backwards, and erroneous, view of the average American. In truth, the average American isn't much different from the average German or the average Brit or the average Chinaman or the average Russian or.... You get the point. We're all just people, and vilifying each other only makes us all look ignorant and dumb. Sure, our celebrities and politicians are basically all royal douches, but the rest of us? All pretty much the same.

Points you might consider:
—Recession
—Climate Change
—New President
—Changes to Domestic & Foreign Policies etc.
—…and whatever else you want.
I've read that our standing, or the world view, changed once George W. and Dick(less) Cheney boarded their planes and left D.C.
But I really don't know how people in other parts of the world view, or what they actually know about the average American. I'm not even sure what the "average American" is, as our nation is so diverse.
Also, Dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
Really... People in China prefer to be called Asian-American.
You don't get out much, do you?
You ever see The Big Lebowski?
Ya know, I never did. Probably should get around to it some day.

And everyone in England has bad teeth and only showers once a week.Weight loss and higher IQ average would help.
I'm not saying I believe all Americans are fat and stupid, I lived there and know it isn't true, however that is the stereotype.
