Anybody else here think American hardcore porn is sort of dead now? For me there are no truly great pornstars now. No Jesabel Vessirs, no Dani Daniels, no Teal Conrads, no Eva Lovias,(non lip filler version), no Chloe Amours (non lip filler version). Europe seems to be doing somewhat better. They have Josephine Jackson, Dido Angel, and the greatest pornstar in the business right now - Katana. And if Maria Rya and Clover go hardcore they will break the internet. Can American porn recover?

Well I sort of half agree. I don't think there are any "superstars" like there have been in the past. If I had to guess, I would say the #1 girl right now would be Riley Reid, and she isn't someone I'm a HUGE fan of, even though I do have a few scenes with her and some of them are really good.
But to think porn is dead or even close to dying is a bit silly. The problem (if you want to call it that) is that there are just SOOOO many girls now and so many niches, it's just near impossible for anyone to be a break out star. Outside of good (or perfect) looks, what can a girl do to really set herself apart from the thousands and thousands of girls that came before her? And that's not even mentioning that looks is 100% subjective. Some people think Riley Reid is perfect. I think she's ok. Once you get to a certain point in watching porn, you realize that "superstars" aren't really that important. Then it just becomes a matter of finding a girl you like and pray to hell that she doesn't ruin her body.

One thing they could do to easily stand out for me is to have some style and personality and class. They could seem like the type of girl that wouldnt do porn. Those are always hard to find. Also Asian girls and especially Indian girls would stand out easily if they are pretty. I kid you not, in one of Jesabel Vessir's first scenes, the director/actor kept asking her, "What the fuck are you doing in this business?" He meant the question as a compliment.
