Amanda Tapping

Nice. Who is she? I mean, what is she famous for?
played Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter for the entire 10 year run of Stargate SG1, and has now reprised said role on the new season of Stargate Atlantis.

Not to be anal but her character started out as Captain, then Major, then Lt. Colonel (and points in between as different variations of her character).

Most people missed her as she kept her hair short as an officer. But she also played a civilian in the few episodes with variations of her character with clear extensions. Might cause other men to see her as more "womanly" and notice her beauty (regardless of hair length).

Frankly, any time she donned civilian clothes, especially a dress, you could see her womanly figure. Adding in the geekdom, it's why a lot of men like Sci-Fi shows -- women with brains and the not-so-boney/not-so-unwomanly figures.

I guess the producers/directors are smarter than we give them credit for.
