imagine if his $100 million he spent on romney to win would have paid off! romney would have been pretty indebted to this guy. I dont disagree that iran needs to go but nuclear with russia having their backs? not a good idea.

American-Jewish billionaire blasts Obama over negotiations with Tehran; says US should show Iran nuclear capabilities.

NEW YORK – During a panel at Yeshiva University on Tuesday evening, Sheldon Adelson, noted businessman and owner of the newspaper Israel Hayom, suggested that the US should use nuclear weapons on Iran to impose its demands from a position of strength.

Asked by moderator Rabbi Shmuley Boteach whether the US should negotiate with Iran if it were to cease its uranium enrichment program, Adelson retorted, “What are we going to negotiate about?”

Adelson then imagined what might happen if an American official were to call up an Iranian official, say “watch this,” and subsequently drop a nuclear bomb in the middle of the Iranian desert.

"Then you say, ‘See! The next one is in the middle of Tehran. So, we mean business. You want to be wiped out? Go ahead and take a tough position and continue with your nuclear development. You want to be peaceful? Just reverse it all, and we will guarantee you that you can have a nuclear power plant for electricity purposes, energy purposes’," Adelson said.

“So a tremendous demonstration of American strength?” Boteach clarified. “So that they would get the message?”

“It’s the only thing they understand,” Adelson said.

“And do you see the current negotiations as a sign of weakness?” Boteach asked.

“Absolutely,” Adelson said.

Adelson, who donated tens of millions of dollars to defeated Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney during the most recent campaign, criticized the Obama administration's willingness to engage the Iranians diplomatically.
"[It's] the worst negotiating tactic I could ever imagine, my entire life," he said.

"Because you can’t get anything. He’s not saying to them, Roll back your entire program and show that you’re willing to be peaceful. So, roll it all back… and we’ll roll back the sanctions…. What is that, a game of chicken, who’s going to blink first?"

In response to Adelson's comments, Boteach said whether the remarks were regarded as serious or an exaggeration to exemplify the extreme measures that the US must take to thwart Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, the international community often employs double standards on Israeli issues.

“When I heard Sheldon make his remark, my initial thought was that his purpose was to goad his more liberal critics into attacking the policy so that their double standards on nuclear threats against Israel could be exposed,” said Rabbi Boteach in a statement.

“I would hope that those who seem alarmed by Sheldon’s overstatement on the extent to which the United States should go to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon will at least protest that much more loudly against its actual development,” he added.

bankers love wars, they always make money funding both sides, so matter who loses they always win, anyone interested should do a little research on the role the BIS bank of international settlements played in World War 2, bankers also love war because having wars is a chance to **** off production which greatly helps to slow down inflation, you see when a million dollar bomb or missile is destroyed in matter of seconds, the production (money that was used to make it) is also destroyed which takes that million dollars out of circulation forever which stems the inflation that missile would have caused if it were left intact and sold to someone else later or stayed in storage having to pay someone for upkeeping it, wars are a great way to slow down dollar inflation, also when "productive" human beings are ****** in war this too plays to the bankers advantage, I know this is a terrible way of looking at wars but that is how the money powers approach it

Netanyahu would do it for a weekend all enclusive stay at one of Sheldon's luxury suites.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I firmly believe we should have done that to Saudi Arabia on 9/12. Drop one in the middle of nowhere and explain, we want those responsible, we know they came from here, turn them over within 48 hours, or we will begin carpet bombing until you are rubble...then we go to Yemen, because we still owe them for the USS Cole.

A squadron of three B52's, can cut a path of devastation one half mile wide, by one mile long....and we have quite a few left, and they are updated for use, for the next 5 or 10 years.

You can't argue with crazy, and there's plenty to spare in every one of those leaders in the Middle East...including Israel. I don't often agree with you, but they can take a good 50% of the blame for all of the trouble in that region....they're **** stirrers.

ICBMs MinutemanIII sent at mach 15 on the Iranian nuclear plants, sumbmarine bases and airforce bases, it solves the problem for once and for all

ICBMs MinutemanIII sent at mach 15 on the Iranian nuclear plants...

:1orglaugh Ah yes, because blowing up a nuclear facility, sure, won't cause the material to reach critical mass, but hey... containment leaks are awesome. The civilians of Iran and their neighbors thank you for your hospitality. Israel says hi btw...

For the record, as loony as Sheldon Adelson comes off as in the news, he's actually one of the best casino owners in the biz. I've been working the Venetian/Palazzo since the summer, and they are the best run, best managed, most employee friendly places I have ever seen or heard of. They have the Taj Mahal of daycare, employee gift shop (with great prices), outstanding employee dining room (this really makes a huge difference for the housekeeping and other entry level workers....and me), recycling project for everything recyclable (including toner cartridges), and everyone is treated with respect. The food waste is sent to a pig **** and I have yet to see my first styrofoam cup (a huge problem with just about every other casino in Vegas).

I have tried to reconcile why he is so bent on funding the ****** of evil when he does so well for the people in his employ. Then I said fuck it and enjoy my perks.

The Russians doesn't like the West's war interventions over the last decade, so that's why they are helping Iran. Plus, they're making billions from helping the Iranians. The Iranians don't trust the Russians. The Russians still hasn't delivered Iran's S-300 systems they ordered in 2007. The Russians are procuring their new S-400 missile systems. They could give Iran their old S-300 systems. The S-300s would still be a giant up over Iran's current air defense systems. The Russians can make Iran a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. That would stop any possible war Iran would have with the West.

"We don't want you te make nukes so we're gonna nuke you !"
