Aside from the "white power rallies" comment.....I would say ACORN is just another in the long list of victims smeared by GOPers with half truths.

It doesn't matter who or what, if it's determined to be a political problem for GOPers there is no limit how low they will go to smear it.

SEIU rank and file have been known to resort to unsolicited violence against their opposition, often 2, 3 and 4 or more on one and although it may not be "evil" it's thuggish and cowardly.

acorn is not to register voters, its to overburden the society and help cause government collapse but getting people on welfare and making them aware of free handouts they may be able to recieve.
Its not about getting them to work its about getting them free stuff that others worked for.
THe founders of acorn were admitted communists who's goal was to cause ecomonic chaos by overburdening the society econonically.
It was also a large factor in the housing market crash which led to an overall economic crash we are currently experiencing, and was blamed on bush.

Short answer: Its corrupt and is against all the country was founded and created on.

Can't even sift through this to address all of the nonsense...literally overlapping nonsense.

One small nugget of pretty easy to blast is the notion that the society can be overburdened. Social services are budgeting along with everything else annually....a program can spend less but it can't spend more or be overburdened.

Simply put GOPer and conservative strategists always theorize that higher voter turn out is detrimental to their odds of winning. Obviously they would be against an organization which registers people who would likely be inclined to vote democrat...I mean duh. So instead of trying to educate people to support their platform and vote for them....they believe discrediting organizations like ACORN with misleading allegations and isolated incidents of some employee engaging in impropriety is easier. Well it's true...it's always easier to defame something or someone with anecdotally misleading allegations.

Example; ACORN worker prosecuted for turning in fraudulent registration cards. Sounds pretty damning for ACORN but the fact of the matter is it's ACORN who turns these people in to the authorities because they (ACORN) are the victims of the fraud.

ACORN on video fraudulently helping some fake prostitute apply for housing. Sounds pretty damning for ACORN but the fact of the matter is fraud and impropriety are committed by workers of all types of businesses, government agencies and organizations all of the time.

Should the DMV come crashing down as an organization or agency because some worker is caught fraudulently issuing licenses (something that happens all the time). Should cell phone companies be closed down because some of their workers were caught cloning phone numbers? Something the company itself investigated and had prosecuted. Hell, I can even count how many billions of dollars Haliburton has fraudulently claimed from the government.

As far as your youtube vid....It's a shock that people in desperate situations would show up in droves for a chance to be helped??? Detroit..the most desperate of places right now has a home assistance program and it's a shock that people show up in multitudes??? Now that's pretty dense IMO.

I guess all I can say is at least no one died or was made to wallow in feces and urine for days on end.....

People also show up in droves for jobs too.....
