A question for OCSMs and others: Well known name or various IDs?

Do you prefer to be well known under one unique name, that as many fans as possible connect to you
or to spread some galleries here and there under various names?

Basically I think, if you are well known, than everybody can find you, you get more popular, more fans register on your personal site. I hope it pays of, so you do not just get a onetime fee and the rest of the profit stays with the producer.

But maybe you can make more money by spreading your galleries here and there under various names and be a bit of a mystery?
Because, for instance, a name like a branding makes it more easy to find your stuff as illegal content?

Up to now I always thought bringing the names of my favourites to light would help them to get a standing and to strengthen their position against companies.
In so far as we are talking about OCSMs, I guess relatable names are important.

Or you could do like a few have done, take advantage of someone elses popularity by picking the exact same name as another well known pornchick ("Jessica Lynn" for example :crash.

Some girls end up getting multiple names, but not by choice. They do a content shoot for someone without reading the release, the content gets sold, and some webmaster makes up a new name without the girl's involvement.

Some girls are serial name changers. Hate those. Really, I do...

I'm not 100% convinced they do that to try to take advantage of the popularity of the girl that had the name first (not saying that some haven't)...I think it's more they didn't do their research.

I saw a couple of sites with a shoot I did in college. I hated how it changed my name from "The Geyser" to "Happy Footlong" all because of those movies.
