It's based on the ongoing manga series about some gamer teens growing up in the 90's. Classified as a "love-comedy", I think it's the best anime/manga in years. The story is good, and it really incorporates the games into the humor. It's at Ep 9 out of 12 so it's getting close to the finale. The manga itself is also winding down with the Vol 10 coming out this winter.
If you grew up with the SNES/Saturn/PC Engine/PS1 or played Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Samurai Showdown etc at the arcade, you will LOVE this anime.
There's no official English release yet so you'll have to find it via your "alternate" anime sources, but any 90's gamer will appreciate this.
