I think the attempt here is to say that a lot of speeches and I guess people in general use the date as a reminder to get to their point. Whenever I have heard it, which for me has been in school, it always went something like, "Since 9/11...." Sometiimes it's wrong, I mean why would I school need a reference point to an American Tragedy? I also think there are people who abuse it, people being the wives. Wasn't there a story about that? Anyways, this comic is in the wrong section.
