Geoffrey Holder, whose energetic laugh helped sell cans of 7Up in the '70s and '80s, has died at the age of 84.

He scared the crap out of me when he played the voodoo priest in "Live And Let Die" when I was a little kid.


So long, Geoffrey, we hardly knew ye.

Wow sad to hear. There was a Yellow Pages commercial with James Earl Jones & Geoffrey Holder that was funny because James was talking and Geoffrey took the catchphrase. James turned around like "who the..??" and the saw Geoffrey and both did Geoffrey's laugh. An interesting thing is both had speech issues growing up and later are known for their voices.
