300,000 Animals To Be Slaughtered At Festival

I'm not for this but animal sacrifice has been around for countless years, longer than almost every current religion. It's better to slaughter animals in the name of a god than in the name of McDonalds doing it to fatten us all up! So, to us, what's the difference!?

Send some of that meat up here!!

The meat industry does the same thing when they slaughter animals for money that has "In God We Trust" on it

Who am I to question an old tradition, but 300.000 Animals?!

If we counted those two events by themselves the number would be far higher than 300,000. So is all this outrage really warranted.

Exactly. Then add the Jewish Passover and Muslim Eid and you have most of the planet eating meat for meals that have religious inspiration. Nevermind the number of animals killed every day which end up in everything from your filet mignon to your bacon butties...

Unless you're a vegetarian, I don't see why this should be surprising.

Where do they get the number 300,000? I'm not even sure there are 300,000 people in Nepal.

I'm sure the animal rights activists would never inflate those numbers in order to draw more criticism to it, would they?

Never!!!
