I contacted a female friend during my college years after 28 years. We are both married,with ********, and professionals.
I expressed my past infatuation with her. Though I didn't express it to her, she was my first love and I never forgot her.
She did return my e mail and was polite and cordial, yet never expressed our past affection, I suppose just on my part. Anyway, I wanted to at least contact her once more before I die.
Now, I am strangely depressed after her "lack of an enthusiastic" response.
I just needed to vent this somewhere. Thanks in advance for your responses.
By the way, we are 60 miles apart.
