Football/soccer is the greatest sport EVER

The whole GB football team in the olympics though is the most stupid idea i have ever heard though.
Speaking from a non English point of view.

I'd love to go there to see some meetings. But I don't think I will be able to afford it. So I will just watch it on TV.

I'd love to see American football as an Olympic sport. I'm just picturing a 5'7" South Korean QB dropping back to pass with Ray Lewis coming at him with a full head of steam. Or watching said South Korean team try to tackle Maurice Jones-Drew.

Football is 22 men walking around and kicking each other in the nuts.
"Football" is an endless commercial break.
But the olympics is a great chance to watch other sports I normally don't watch.

It's all fuckin' awesome. There is nothing like Olympic (International) competition. Hockey is still the best Olympic (Winter) event. Nothing comes close as far as the ***** and guts spilled for some hardware.

As far as b-ball it would be cool if Dirk and Germany got the gold for Dirk to have a ring and the gold within the relatively same time period.
