I'm no fan either but you have to give them major props for taking out Alabama. Also, Texas A & M at 10??

But, hey, it's your poll so have at it. :glugglug:

I try to pick one team a week that's not in anybody else's top 10. The previous three weeks that's been Iowa. But after last Saturday's meltdown.....
A&M seems to be peaking about now. Let's see if they can take down Nebraska this weekend. If not their stay in my top ten will be very brief :D

How is Utah still in the top 25? :wtf:

I was just perusing the Pac 10 schedules for 2011........I don't think I'm going to like this 12 team conference. UCLA, for instance, doesn't play Washington or Oregon next year. Blah!

On the plus side there are some good early season non-conference matchups

Arizona - Okie State
Arizona State - Missouri
Oregon - LSU
Oregon State - Wisconsin
UCLA - Texas
Washington - Nebraska

At least they did the alignment right. The fucking ACC, I still couldn't tell you which teams are in which division without cheating. And it's only been 6 years. And now the Big Ten is doing the same shit. God help us.

re: The ACC...honestly, I don't think they gave a fuck as long as Miami and FSU were in different division as they expect those two to be vying in the champ game almost every year...

Yes, I'm new around here. And I'm also a Florida Gators fan who has had enough of our incompetent OC Steve Addazzio. His ass should be fired after that embarrassment Saturday night. We have a young team, but there's no excuse for playing the way we did.

At least they did the alignment right.

Yeah, probably. I just don't see the wisdom in going to an unbalanced schedule in order to incorporate Utah and Colorado? Had it been Texas and another Big 12 school then yes, ok.

I have also always liked the fact the Pac 10 didn't need a conference championship game. Now it does ::thumbs down::

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
OK y'all we're coming down to the wire so how do you think things will line up this week? We've got some funky matchups this week before we go into rivalry week next week so you better get out your Ouija board. I'm throwing in some of tonight's games as well as Friday's matchup since there are some key contests on the line (If you miss predicting them, no big deal. Do Saturday's games anyway). I have a super-duper (potential) prize this week. This week's winner goes into a lottery to possibly (maybe) win tickets to go see Boise State play TCU in the Boo-Hoo Consolation Series Bowl in January to be played in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

As Carl Weathers would say...."Here we go...."!!

Thursday:

Georgia St. at Alabama (It was either this or take on an intramural team so the Tide opted for Georgia State.)
UCLA at Washington (Huskies win at home. Neuheisel puts house up for sale.)
Air Force at UNLV (Air Force attack is too much for Rebs.)

Friday:

Fresno St. at Boise St. (BSU needs to finish strong and they will against the Dogs on that awful blue field.)

Saturday:

Wisconsin at Michigan (Michigan's D cant stop the Badgers.)
Pittsburgh at USF (Bulls knock off Panthers at home in a mild upset.)
Oklahoma St. at Kansas (Gundy has these guys on a mission now. OU next week!)
Virginia at Boston College (BC should win at home.)
Penn St. vs. Indiana (Why are they playing this game in Landover, MD? Lions win.)
Purdue at Michigan St. (If Purdue was a horse, you'd have to put it to sleep. :anonymous Sparty by a mile.)
Troy at South Carolina (Troy can't win without Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom in the lineup.)
West Virginia at Louisville (Mountaineers win on the road.)
NC State at North Carolina (Wolfpack squeak out a "road" win in Chapel Hill)
Appalachian St. at Florida (No Michigan reprise here. Gators roll at the Swamp.)
Mississippi at LSU (Rebs can't win in Baton Rouge no way.)
Ohio St. at Iowa (Bi-polar Hawkeyes upend Bucks in Iowa City.)
Virginia Tech at Miami (FL) (Must win for Miami so....they lose. Shannon packing his bags?)
Stanford at California (Cardinal won't stumble now against Bears.)
Illinois vs. Northwestern (They are playing this at Wrigley Field? I gotta see this. Illini hit 3 or 4 onto Waveland Avenue as they eke out a win.)
Florida Atlantic at Texas (Even the hapless Longhorns can't lose AGAIN at home....can they?? :dunno:)
Army vs. Notre Dame (Irish are rolling now. That's 2 in a row!! And at Yankee Stadium! Batter up!!)
Arkansas at Mississippi St. (Bulldogs edge Hogs in Starkville in a tight one.)
Missouri at Iowa St. (Tigers are back on track but this game will be close.)
Tennessee at Vanderbilt (Vandy really sucks so Vols I guess.)
Nebraska at Texas A&M (Tannehill has turned Aggies from pretender to contender. They pull off the upset in College Station as hell freezes over.)
Florida St. at Maryland (Another upset as Terps squeak past 'Noles at home.)
USC at Oregon St. (Trojans win one on the road in a close one against Beavs.)
Oklahoma at Baylor (OU bounces back against Bears in Waco.)
Utah at San Diego St. (Utah continues freefall as Aztecs triumph at home.)

Oklahoma at Baylor (Hope no one lights fire to the compound in Waco after the loss..)

Ole Miss at LSU (LSU's game to lose)
Ohio St. at Iowa (Toss up Ohio State)
Virginia Tech at Miami (FL) (This would be a good game usually but I see Tech winning by two touchdown)
Stanford at California (Stanford gets it done)
Illinois vs. Northwestern (Northwestern wis in a shootout)
Florida Atlantic at Texas (Texas gets a good win)
Army vs. Notre Dame (I don't trust Notre Dame in this one Go Army)
Arkansas at Mississippi St. (Close game led by Miss.St. defense but Arkansas's offense wins it)
Missouri at Iowa St.(This was going to be a toss up game for me but ISU lost to Colorado Missouri)
Tennessee at Vanderbilt :)1orglaugh:1orglaugh Tennessee :1orglaugh)
Nebraska at Texas A&M (T-Magic does it for Nebraska)
Florida St. at Maryland (My 'Noles win one step closer to the Orange Bowl)
USC at Oregon St.(USC just because OSU I don't trust)

Some one please tell me why in the fuck did they put the Alabama-Georgia state game on t.v. i mean really we all know who was goinf to win this is nothing like Michigan-ASU in '07.Who really gives a fuck. Now the Washingto-UCLA game is worth watching but my dumb as had to pick UCLA.Based it on the record and thought they were a better team.:rolleyes:and then again UCLA would give up a first down only to have UW in an illegal formation two team that just does not want to win the game:facepalm:

Friday:
Fresno St. at Boise St. (Fuck Boise, I'll rootin' on Pat Hill's boys but I don't see it happening)

Saturday:
Wisconsin at Michigan (I actually could see UM winning this one)
Pittsburgh at USF (I think this is the year USF finally wins the Big East)
Oklahoma St. at Kansas (Why is Justin Blackmon not getting any Heisman acknowledgement?? I have him 3rd after Pay'im Newton and LaMichael James)
Virginia at Boston College (Taking the home team. Though being at home in the ACC don't mean shit.)
Penn St. vs. Indiana (They're not that bad to be going winless in the Big Ten. Even Minnesota won one.)
Purdue at Michigan St. (I'm not counting out Purdue though)
Troy at South Carolina (For the first time ever someone not named Troy or North Texas is gonna win the Sun Belt outright IMO......FIU)
West Virginia at Louisville (The fucking Big East. The ACC lite.)
NC State at North Carolina
Appalachian St. at Florida (Not a gimme)
Ole Miss at LSU (I'm gonna be pissed if LSU makes the title game. Win your fucking conference or gtfo)
Ohio St. at Iowa (For Michigan State's behalf)
Virginia Tech at Miami (FL) (Unfortunately for the Canes they need the UVA to beat VT)
Stanford at California (I don't think Cal can muster it all up a 2nd week in a row. Nor do I think Stanford will underperform for a 2nd consecutive week)
Illinois vs. Northwestern (Good luck with whatever your next venture is, Ron Zook)
Florida Atlantic at Texas (If they were playing any other team in the state of Florida, including FIU, I'd pick the other team)
Army vs. Notre Dame (Remember when Michigan State shocked Notre Dame with that FG forever ago??? Notre Dame's played 1 true road game since )
Arkansas at Mississippi St. (Nice season for Mississippi State. But they are gonna get run over by the team I'm starting to think is the 2nd best in the SEC)
Missouri at Iowa St.
Tennessee at Vanderbilt (Even when UT is terrible, they beat VU and UK)
Nebraska at Texas A&M (It looks like A&M's gonna need a 3-way tie in the South cuz Ok State got's the tiebreaker)
Florida St. at Maryland (Keep winning. Let the ACC race distract you. Meanwhile we're waiting. Waiting.)
USC at Oregon St. (Oregon State has fallen off the face of the earth. And taking Boise State and TCU with them.)
Oklahoma at Baylor
Utah at San Diego St. (Well San Diego State >>> Notre Dame, so logic would say SDSU's gonna win)

Now the Washingto-UCLA game is worth watching but my dumb as had to pick UCLA. Based it on the record and thought they were a better team. :

well what can you do, this team is just decimated by injuries :dunno:
how many true freshman started on defense tonight? six? seven?
something like 16 scholarship players have undergone surgery.
then they lose their 2nd string QB after losing their 1st stringer three games ago.
the fickle finger of fate has not been kind to them.

Some one please tell me why in the fuck did they put the Alabama-Georgia state game on t.v.

At least is was on the far end of the network ESPNU. Obliviously no one really cared about this game whatsoever.

More like the middle finger of fate.Damn well Washington finally played like they wanted it more.A 24-7 win is good for the pride.

So far 2-1 on my picks and I prety sure Boise can pull this one off tonite could be close but BSU should win.Should be some great games this weekend.Enjoy see you guys Monday morning:hatsoff:

Wisconsin at Michigan(should be high scoring)

Not sure the weather will cooperate for a high scoring affair but it could.

I hate prognosticating on UM right now but if we tend to score quickly when our opponents miss assignments. Hard to see Wiscy missing assignments like Illinois did against us a couple of weeks ago.

Saturday:

Wisconsin at Michigan (Wisconsin wins one step closer to Rose Bowl)

Will be interesting...as the Big10 will have somewhat of a controversy as to who goes to the Rose Bowl assuming MSU and Wiscy finish with one loss.

Some of the Rose Bowl tie breakers the B10 primarily went by in the past was the obvious one of head-to-head then baring head to head, the team who didn't go last would would then go.

But now even though MSU beat Wiscy head to head...I think this season the B10 would be obligated to send/Rose Bowl invite the team with the highest BCS ranking.:surprise:
