How can I make my Avatar / profile pic show in posts? It doesnt seem to display anywhere.

Dumb question - how can I chance the message under my signature's avatar? It currently says "Get a new wallpaper at Wallpaperheaven.com!" I didn't put that there. Can I customze it?
