I managed to find some POV clips of Rita on newsgroups the other day and those silvery marks on her right of her belly button are actually piercings. This is a shot from her early on in the film. Anyone recognize her? I have not seen her in anything else including regular pictures but it is hard for me to believe she'd just do this one film as smoking as she is. Love those sad eyes during the film.

I think this shot would confirm it. It is one on the link blown up. In some shots it looks as though she has silver stars to the lower right of her belly button (left to us) but in some shots it looks like flaky skin. Either way both this shot and the one provided by the OP have this unusual...

I'd agree. If you compare the OP picture with the ones you linked to you can see both have some sort of scar to the right side (left in photo) of their belly button. It is an odd looking scar or tattoo and looks to be covered by a band aid in one shot. Although Rita does have large feckles...
