Mods have got more power. I understand almost every new feature of the new board. Banning and censorship functions have been fine tuned. And maybe there will come some new mods soon. Oh and btw we have invested a lot of time to upgrade the board. It has cost much more than 40 hours work. I...

Yes you are right, these are 2 different things. The repuration points are not only based on post count as many user assume here. It's also based on your current reputation, amount of days that you are a member, amount of visits to the board etc.

btw another new option I have added since about an hour is " Quick Reply"

The higer your Rep Power is the more your vote will count if you post a reputation vote to another user

I have no clue yet where those message go to. Checking it out now. Anyway, you can use this tool to report spammers, racists etc etc.

The reputation points will give mods a better view about a person. This is usefull when there are complaints about a specific person. You can use this tool by clicking this button: You can view the status of a user by "mouse over" this image:

It only cost me a few months of my life to fill in all the data, so...

The bandwith is not the real problem. It are the amounts of accesses to a certain file. It doesn't matter how big or small a file is. Each hit to the file is one more request to the database. Please just upload your sig somewhere on the web. There are enough hosts offering free space. Thanks

I have seen many members who host their sig on the board itself. First they upload the picture in a post and after that copy the url to the image into their sigs. The database has become huge. Therefore all those sigs have a very negative influence on the performance of the board. I ask...
