Agree, they should of come out different years, coz they both deserve it. Javier Bardem was perfect as Chugar, he easily could have take home an oscar as well for his performance. I think I've seen NCFOM a few more times than I have TWBB, it always seems to be on at the right time. It also had a stellar cast, and Tommy Lee Jones is one of my favorite actors.

Yeah, I guess I never really thought about those similarities before but that probably is an homage to Kubrick. I haven't see all of Paul's movies, just Boogie Nights, which I thought was great, Magnolia, saw it in the theater and had mixed feelings about it, didn't think it was all too good. I'll have to try and watch it again. And, There Will Be Blood, that I thought was just brilliant. I like No Country For Old Men too, but I thought his movie should have won for Best Picture and Director.I'm glad that Daniel Day Lewis took home Best Actor though.He deserved it.
