Almost forgot... have you ever checked out High On Fire? Des Kensel is a fucking ***** of a drummer, and Matt Pike is probably the greatest balls-out riffer in modern metal guitar playing. The whole band is fucking great. It won't let me post a link/vid here for some reason, but check out "Devilution" on youtube if you're interested.
Good stuff. I've always liked Arch Enemy but never really gotten in to them for some reason, probably because I find a new awesome band every 5 minutes. The Amotts can definitely shred, and you're totally right about Angela.
Thanks for the Brann Dailor Rep. Dude is seriously the best drummer anywhere. You should check out Mastodon's Leviathan and ***** Mountain record for his best stuff if you're interested in more. (The entire band is fucking great)
