In the last couple of weeks, I've had more than a few posts regarding Caitlin Clark popping up in my Twitter timeline. Random things about how other WNBA teams and players are over aggressive when she's playing and not being protected by the referees or how her fellow players don't rate her, but some do and the fans really do.
I've watched a couple of the clips associated with the posts and she does get smacked a bit in them.
Any of you weird American folk out there able to fill me in on what's actually going on? Feeling like I walked into a modern, twisty TV show after missing the first half dozen episodes.
I'm starting to get more than a little curious about what's going on. Is she as good as the fans think? Is she getting pummeled by the oposition, while not being protected enough by referees? Or is the random crapfest of the Internet blowing smoke up it's own arse again and messing with me?
