There’s a German alpine skier named Fanny Chmelar, with the surname pronounced ‘Shmeller’. It was the answer to a question on an episode of The Chase in the UK, and the host lost it when he had to say her name. The clip is on YouTube. Fanny is a cruder word in the UK than the US or elsewhere.
