Bump = Bring Up My Post
If you (or someone else) create(s) a thread you can bring it back to the top of the page by posting a reply (often the reply is simply the word bump). This is usually done in the ID section where lots of topics are made every day & where your thread (or someone else's thread) could end up on page 3 or 4 very fast.
Since a lot of IDers will only check the first few pages, you can bump your post (but only once every 24h). Other people can bump your post as well..
