It can get annoying when it's a team of good guys but the lead character always has to be the one to fully defeat the villain. What is the absolute worst IMO is when a show/comic has one of the early villains turn into a good guy...and then make him about as useless as possible. "Oh no I was...

Regarding you asking about the lighting: The lighting is decent enough but could be better. Most pawnshops sell stage lighting and photographers lights somewhat cheap. I'm not sure exactly how much one would cost but it would definitely brighten the room up and would probably improve the quality...
