  • Those are two really good ones! I've been listening to "Shake Your Foundations" a lot recently.
Thanks. Well "Rattlesnake Shake" is a song from the Then Play On album, Peter Green's last album with them. It's a song about masturbation. Peter's quote, "I know this guy named Mick, now he don't care when he got no chick" was actually an inside joke within the band, about none other than Mick Fleetwood.

About Jeremy Spencer, he's an excellent slide player comparable to Duane Allman. He was and still is a big Elmore James enthusiast. And yes, that lame' suit. He wore it at the Boston Tea Party in 1969. There he did some playing of old Jerry Lee Lewis songs on the piano. :)

Then the bad LSD trip, Peter growing his fingernails long, as he stopped his playing, sold off his Les Paul and other guitars, sold off his worldly possessions and became a hermit in his mother's home.

Actually he was institutionized for a time as well. As was Danny Kirwan for a time. Danny had that nervous breakdown.

Remember, though that you had Bob Welch years before Buckingham Nicks. :)
Haha, I've heard "Cool Kids" before. My station played it as part of a "songs that sucked" feature. :D
Me neither. One time I was with a couple friends on Hennepin Ave and asked, "Ever been in Moby Dick's?" None of us had, but in the few seconds it took to discuss this there was this roar from inside, then people started spilling out onto the sidewalk, screaming, swinging, etc. "Not tonight," we decided.
Yeah, we used to have the Payne Reliever, but that's been gone for years. I used to go over to Minneapolis clubs like 418 and a couple other ones. Not really big on the club thing much though anymore.
