Depends? Do you mean like classic action stars? I saw someone mention Johnny Depp and I wondered when he was classified as an action star (seriously??)? For the classics, Steven Seagal (I don't think many people could take him in his heyday), Van Damme (Bloodsport, hell yeah), Arnold of course and simply for one movie, Road House, Patrick Swayze.

Newer age. The Rock, Jet Li, Mark Wahlberg and another guy for on movie, Knockaround Guys, Vin Diesel.

I also in no way endorse MOST of these actors acting skills.

Yeah, to me because i like the Van Damme,Lundgren,etc. kind of action movies, that's what i think about, But all the names posted are action in a certain way too.

I could watch the Seagal movies over and over because i love 'em ha ! He takes care of business plain and simple. I like the others you mention too. I grew up watching these movies and just really enjoyed them. People love them as much as me though.

Let's add also robert downey junior, chris evans, channing tatum, alex o laughlin (from the shield and hawai five o), daniel day kim (from 24 and hawai five o), mickael chicklis (vic mc key from the shield), walton goggins (ultimate redneck shane wandrell in the shield, ultimate redneck boyd croyder in justified and billy crash in django) , randy couture, scott adkins (well known for the role of youri boyka in unbelievable fight 2 and 3, great martial artist), michael jai white, wesley snipes, lorenzo lamas (in his role of renegade and in the b movies he has made , he has shown very good martial arts skills) and german impressive martial artist matthias hues
