For Those Who Dislike Me......

I decided that since I'm in pain and it sucks, I was entitled to a one-time-only "Sam-thread". Self-indulgent, self-promoting, attention seeking......hell, why do I need to explain it?

Anyway, it was my attempt at irony.....or something.

Well you got it part right. "Curiously Non-descript thread title....". You should have followed it up with an article about how a member of a racial minority has slighted the White Man, but nobody cares because the White Man is white.

Ah, if only america had a decent healthcare system he would be fine...
Anyway Mayhem, I'm sending you all my positive energy... or is it negative energy? Anyway, the important thing is that I managed to mention myself in this post. My ego is almost as great as me and deserves massaging, for I am awesome. What was the point of this thread again? Oh yeah, enjoy your poker, Mayhem. I don't ****** because I'm better than that

Are you a chiropractor? Cause you are working on my nerves...

:D

People may dislike you on here, but I doubt anyone would rejoice because you're in physical pain. That would be an example of taking the Interwebz a little too seriously.

^^^ This. Hopefully we don't have too many people here like that... but (unfortunately) I'm sure there are a few.

BTW Mayhem, you may not have considered it yet... but maybe you should consider seeing a chiropractor. :dunno:

i didnt read any of the previous comments, but i had a similar problem. luckily my friend is a physical therapist and he took care of it.

he reached under my shoulder blade, and shifted it. i was sore for a couple days just because of the stress my muscles were in, but otherwise i was fine.

he said that injury is how most massagers make their living. its a very common injury usually caused by poor posture or falling on an outreached arm.

I hope it's the twin you absorbed in the womb trying to break free from your body and that it tries to ****** you.

As it happens I AM a professionally trained masseure (NOTE: NOT choiropractor) in the field of Swedish body massage. I'd offer Mayhem a massage, but A: He's rather far away and B: I suspect he'd rather get a massage from an OCSM.
Not to mention that C: I'd rather massage an OCSM. No offence Mayhem :D

I've had a similar problem before...I never came across a quick fix...It had to do with my posture and physical conditioning... esp. in your upper pectoral region...Once I began to improve those two things, the pain eventually went away...Buy a book on Yoga and begin to learn the positions...Like I said it's not a quick fix, but it will help you in the long run...

You'd be better off visiting a witch doctor than a chiropractor IMO.

See a physical therapist and do some appropriate stretching exercises is my advice. I have serious disc issues in my back and they were the only ones who offered legitimate relief to me. I do not dislike you at all. Good luck.

Mayhem, hardly anyone has anything against you.

Some people are not able to normal conversation, but it is not your fault.

When you meet a manic stay calm. :sunny:

Ps: I wish you luck for surgery

I would feel sorry for you if I hadn't had testicular nerve pain for the past 8-9 months, I'd gladly take any pain over that. Worse thing is after being wrongly diagnosed as having a UTI (and taking no less than 7 courses of antibiotics which did nothing) all my scans come back as negative which has led a pain specialist to conclude that the nerves have just 'flared up'. All I can say about your problem is that if it's a nerve pain (neuropathic pain) then traditional painkillers like Paracetamol, Nurofen and Co-Codamol (I tried them all) probably won't work, the only one that has helped sometimes is Tramadol which will also help you get to ***** through the pain. My pain specialist also prescribed me a low dose of the antidepressant Amitriptalyne which if taken over a long period can supposedly help deal with neuropathic pain. I've also been taking this supplement in an attempt to settle the nerves down once and for all but it's too early to tell if it's working, it could be a load of crap but when you're suffering you'd try anything and everything.

Pain hurts. I think we can all agree on this.

my girlfriend is a trained masseuse although she's never actually done it very much but she has a trick like that where she works her way underneath the shoulder blades and works them loose...feels weird as fuck but it works pretty well for freeing up stiff/hurting shoulders. i'd completely forgotten about that until you mentioned it..
