You truly are a pitiful person. The above conversation is between joilover and larrs. Notice it isn't about you, yet you feel the need to butt-in and give your worthless opinion, while interjecting my name into the equation.
Why don't you just accept the fact that joilover is miles ahead of you in the literary and the debate arena. Last I recall, he tossed your sorry ass overboard and moved on. Something you need to do, instead of these silly "hit and run" comments of yours. It's grown tiresome, seriously!

Actually, it is your responsibility to ensure that people (I am leaving out the word sensitive here, because it really does not matter what type of person) do not have an emotional response to something that you write. Just as it is in the real world. I suspect that if you went around talking the way you write in here that you would be rather unpopular, and often beaten. I find that the great thing about forums is that I get a chance to read what I have written before posting it so that I can assess what I have said and, if necessary, change it so that it reflects what I actually mean.
You have accused me of spinning what you have said and having an agenda. I have no agenda and have not spun anything. What possible gain could I have for doing that?
I just think that a community like this would get on better if people thought a bit about what they posted sometimes and actually admit when they have made a mistake. I am not perfect, and have posted without thought in the past, and I have come back and admitted that I was wrong. There is no shame in that.
I have made no demands of you, and want nothing more than an answer to at least one of the questions that I have posed. I have asked whether, in hindsight, that You Might have written your original comment differently, and it is abundantly clear now that you wouldn't. I will let the readers of this thread make up their own minds as to what this means about you.
Not to be the contrarian, here, but he posted this in an open forum on a board with hundreds of thousands of members. If either wanted this to be a private conversation, that's what PMs are for. This thread is open to the public, therefore, by posting it, or by responding in it, you are welcoming the responses of every single member on FreeOnes. This is a lesson that everyone needs to learn. Private messages are for private conversations. Threads are the property of every single member. Don't be pissed off or surprised by responses in the thread, even if people weren't originally included in the discussion.

I don't know where you come from, but I was taught manners as a *****. This means that you look at things from other people's perspective and treat them as you would have them treat you. This also means that you don't say that someone is "full of ****", nor do you tell them that they are insignificant, as this is offensive. I DO have the right to be offended by offensive language and I DO take offence at it.
Just because someone else attacks you with vile language is no reason to do the same to me. I am expressing an opinion in a reasoned and sensible way, but am starting to wonder why I bother as I am not getting any reasoned and sensible responses.
You say you are not being personal, and yet go on with "You're just a grain of sand on a shitty beach". How is that not a personal ******?
I am guessing that you feel that it is fine to lay into me as you are doing because I seem "very weak" (which would, of course, make you a bully). What makes me seem weak to you? Is it that I have not resorted to foul language? Is it because I admit that I sometimes get things wrong? You are not backing up any of your arguments with anything solid. If you think that an individual does not make a difference and is insignificant, try ******** in a room with a single mosquito.
In real life, you cannot say what you like and then just quote the first amendment. The first amendment allows for free speech up to a point. Try spouting **** and vitriol and your 1st amendment rights tend to disappear. Categories excluded from 1st amendment rights include obscenity, defamation, incitement, and "fighting words."
I am not asking you to step on egg shells around me or anybody else, but I would hope that you could be polite and respectful and respond to questions with a little decorum without just flying off the handle.
