This is a fairly controversial method for dealing with a rebellious kid. I’ll let Chivers judge for themselves whether or not this dad was in the right or completely out of control. Either way, this video is just too damn interesting to pass up. Enjoy.

Though I think removing the battery and confiscating the charger would have been more economically viable, you can't argue with the rest of his behavior. Some kids today need a swift boot up their ass to make sure they stay in line. This sense of self-entitlement is one of my many bones to pick with this generation. Kudos to the father for discovering the post and calling out his lazy ass daughter. Know your role, bitch.

I think as you become older, you want to naturally pay back your parents for the sh*t you bestowed on them for all those years. It seems only reasonable, probably part of the reason, I have not given them grandchildren yet. But shooting her laptop then posting it might backfire, she might really resent that later in life, she might laugh, but I'm pretty sure she will get the message. That after all her complaining, and she probably has done a lot more than we know about, eventually she will realise that her life is supported all by her parents. I dont doubt that somewhere along the lines of taking the laptop, loading a gun, and off loading it into the laptop, he has forgotten that being a teenager is very tough and emotional.
