i'm actually rather disappointed Tampa let him go. very promising player for us. the price was just going to be too much though

Lundin is a good player but he's no better than a 5th or 6th defenceman. I liked him but I don't losing him is such a big blow.

Stamkos had a great start to the year, but the second half saw his production drop significantly. He is always a threat, but needs to get results. Glad he stayed in TB and will enjoy watching him locally on the telly.

Putting up a 40+ spot is hardly a spotty performance. Of course he lagged at the end but sheesh, $3.75 for 4 for a former #1? Fucking christ the Wild could have given up more for that and anyone would've been happy with it. Watch him put up a 50 spot a couple years in a row or something. Unlikely (30s maybe) but damn, the way players were just getting bags of money thrown at them this off season boggles my mind on this one. :2 cents:

To think a guy like Ryan Malone is getting like 10 times as much as he is is a stunner. Lightning got the best deal of the offseason.

I'm torn on this. I'd have to say yes. He was never the high profile net-minder that other teams coveted, but is overall stats are right there with some HOF goalies. Grant Fuhr is in with only two more wins and Ozzies stats are better.
