Led Zeppelin

I don't know much about Led Zeppelin only that Very simply,
musicalogically and ethniically, Led Zeppelin were essentially
empirical mélanges of a rhythmically radical but yet verbally
passe and temporarily transcended lyrical content welded with
historically innovative melodical material, transposed , transcended
and transmogrified by the angst of the Zeppelinque ethnic experience
which elevated them from essentially alpha exponents of in essence
millibeta potential harmonic material into the prime cultural exponents
of an ***** codensic cosmic stanza form.

In other words, they're pertty good.

I don't think there is a place where there aren't a single Led Zep fan.

you know l3egs, that's true, but almost not.
where i live people have horrible taste in music.
I think in all of central and south America they do.
99% of the humanoids listen to the same ****.
annoying salsa, electronica, and stupid reggaeton.
If I asked 1000 people here maybe 10 might know led zep, and 9 of them only a few songs.

My point- It annoys the hell out of me and thank God i grew up in the states.

I don't want to change the topic of the thread but it makes me wonder wtf.
The whole latin culture listens to music when theyre doing everything.....everything.
But the music is so heartless and soulless, void of any meaning or significance, and it all sounds the same.
I think the most profound thing ever written in a spanish song was "Iye Iye Iye amor".
I just don't get the mindset.
But it's almost the same with English music today with all the crap that comes out these days.
Anyway I love Led Zep, glad I can appreciate real music and feel sorry for those who can't.

A 1966 project that Jeff Beck was working on with Jimmy Page, Keith Moon, Nicky Hopkins, and John Paul Jones, were actually the sessions that Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones made the decision to work together on future endeavors....

But if we want to talk about the New Yardbirds, we should honestly feature Terry Reid here, since Jimmy Page went to him first as the lead singer. However, Terry was very busy in a solo career, writing, and arranging songs, etc. He backed out. Instead he recommended a singer in Birmingham, England. His name was Robert Plant. In turn, Robert recommended a drummer. His name was John Bonham.

Unreal.
I never heard that before, Bolero.

I did know the Terry Reid story but never really heard his music.
The guy turned down Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.
Gotta check out some of his stuff.

Any band that can take a queue from Tolkien and make it rock, most definitely does rock.

A lot of their songs are based around the books by JRR Tolkien. Hell, Plant used to yell Strider at the end of Bron-Y-Aur Stomp.

Closest geeks?

Can you blame them? Tolkien was a great author.

I grew out of Zeppelin a long time ago. A lot of my FRIENDS are still fans, and once we listened to all of their albums in the car when we were GOING TO CALIFORNIA. After that, I didn't know HOW MANY MORE TIMES I could stand listening to them. Nowadays I enjoy listening to new age music IN THE EVENING or on the way to work. Nostalgia is funny. The other day I was in a pizza shop that had a juke box, and I was gonna play some Zep, but I had NO QUARTER. I kinda think ROCK N ROLL is dead, anyway. Back then the songs just seemed to RAMBLE ON and go nowhere fast. Well, THAT'S THE WAY I feel. Take it or leave it. THANK YOU for reading this. Oh...and BRON YR AUR STOMP.
