Yes I knew about the solar flares for a while and I just learned about the asteroid last week.

That's cool. I've also read some stories recently about how scientists are predicting solar storms in the next couple of years or so. And how it could interfer with the majority of the electronics we pretty much rely on these days like mobile/cell phones, GPS systems, etc. Then there was the story of how they think Betelgeuse is close to becoming a supernova and if it does how we could have light for 24 hrs a day for 2 weeks or something like that. Plus a story about an asteroid passing us by in the year 2029 which could be affected by the earth's gravity and scientists in Russia think it may come back and impact the Earth in 2036. Could be some scary times up ahead thats for sure. You're definitely spot on about being informed and prepared! I just hope Bruce Willis will still be alive and up for the challenge when this **** goes down so he can save the world again lol

I will add that I do not think that going out of one's way to show or express love should be restricted to an "assigned" day.
If a person waits to show love on Valentine's day then they are failing 364 days a year. lol

First, the truth is never sappy. I agree we are all blessed to know Nikki, but I would like to expand upon that by saying we are also blessed to know each other as well! I'd like to take the time to wish everyone a wonderful week and a Happy Valentine's Day! In some people's eyes we may be a Motley Crew, and some of us act like knuckleheads at times (present company included), but there are definitely some terrific people who participate in Nikki's thread! It's no mystery why Nikki's thread is by far the greatest on here...Bar none! I for one appreciate each and everyone of you & genuinely value the friendships that I have made on here! As I said: we are truly blessed to have each other!

By my calculations, I owe Nikki 5279 feet, 11 inches (give or take an inch), but I also feel that I owe each and every one of you something for at least tolerating me when, quite frankly, I was admittedly acting like a dick! Since nobody won the Amazon Gift Card I tried to award earlier, with Nikki's permission, I would like to post a few trivia questions (fairly easy/pop culture) from time to time & whomever leads at the end of March wins the gift card! I know it's not much, but I genuinely believe that I owe so much to so many!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead!

Nikki, overnight I really got it! The PM/Post overlap took place last night. I screwed up, and it won't happen again.

I'm the first to admit that I'm long winded, so I just started editing before posting (sad huh?). Since I am posting publicly again, and I never did PM before I stopped, you have nothing to worry about from me.

I also realize that I had said I was starting my own thread. Upon reflection, I realized that I am spending far too much time online. So, the best thing to do is to cut back...not increase my time online. If you are okay with it, I'd like to remain a part of the musings, jokes, the occasional post, and the little contest...but little more! I came to realize that by needlessly consuming so much of your time...I've also done the same to myself!

of COURSE I'm ok with it! I really do like you and consider you a friend. That doesn't mean that you haven't gotten on my nerves recently but I tell you and we talk and it's all good. I have just had to kind of be super blunt lately because when being polite and cautious you haven't been "getting it". haha. Given your health issues and the way you get so stressed out over really kind of little stuff I highly recommend Yoga for you my friend. Also I am still waiting for you to tell me when you have finished that book so I can talk to you about it and some other things. I swear it will change your life darlin'.

My Monday musings

1) I said "Happy Valentines Day Everyone!" today on twitter n I got a tweet back that said "Really? EVERYONE? People that say Happy Valentines Day everyone should be punched in the face". Um....what is wrong with that person and why do they feel it necessary to take it out on me?

2). just read a guy that said he works at a restaurant and thinks it would be funny to put a fake engagement ring into every girls glass of *********. Ha! hahaha!

3).Why was I born with a place inside of me that only soft, chew cookies can fill?

4).(this ones more of a need to vent one) someone who has been a member of my site for years and that I love dearly mind u has sent me several emails and about 15 tweets today and asking me if I got his email (one of many) he sent only a couple of hours before. I KNOW this person read my blog entry yesterday for a FACT because he commented on how selfish people can be. Does he think it didn't apply to him also?
It's VALENTINES DAY! First of all I sometimes take days to repsond to messages. I have a life and 4 jobs PLUS massive stresses of my own at the moment! He was tweeting me asking me what I thought of his private messages! WTF?! What if I have boyfriend? I don't disclose anything about my private life so don't even ask me if I do but my point is it is Valentines Day....and even if it wasn't I have a very busy life...period! Damn dude! Do I have to start being a bitch to get people to hear me? If so, that's a shame.

5). Fuck I'm out of cheese

6). Why do people I work for say they mailed out checks that they owe me on a certain day when clearly they did not or I would have it by now?!

7). Why does the same landscaper keep leaving his card on my door 3 days a week and today I had 2 of his cards AND a flier? Even if I did need a landscaper he would be the last guy I would call simply because he's annoying.

8)."blowjobs are like flowers to men". ....so true

9). I need some cookies....NOW!

10).I wonder if anyone has been sent Poison Ivy on Vday by an ex or just someone evil? hahaha

I think if someone sent me a bouquet of the beautiful flowers/buds below it would really help my current stress level. lol
