Nikki...I sent you a pm that I hope explains what I am doing here and what my intentions are. I sincerely hope, given the circumstances, that you find it to be refreshing (at least with a prudent amount of guarded optimism)! Even when you remove all that you have been through (and are even currently going through) from the equation...I think I speak for everyone here when I say you would still be a remarkable person! When one factors everything else in...it would be amazing if you turned out normal...but you took it beyond that...you turned out to be a person who is beyond incredible! That is what we all love and appreciate about you! I for one hope I can be part of the solution...and I think that needs no explanation! You mean the world to so many...and it is time we give back for a change! You have been there for so many...we are here for you now!

Got the pics. So beautiful. Very vast and open like AZ desert. To me you have the life Dazza. You really do! To be away from all of the bullshit and surrounded by nature like that is just oprfection. I also am well aware of how much hard work it is though. MY ***** would be a cabin or house in the country ( but near a city) and have a lake or river on my property and just write for the rest of my life. That would be a ***** come true!

I totally agree! Dazza you really have it better than you can imagine! I've lived in the country and the city and I'll take the country any day! The peace of mind that being one with nature and the solitude that comes with being removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is so invaluable! Money can't buy that type of contentment and happiness! I'm just like you Nikki...my ideal place to live would be in a secluded rural area where I'm surrounded by nature...yet close enough to a major city for those moments that I want a taste of the city life again.

Jon...BUT in honor of You I will still keep to the monday musings fro sure and I suppose Bad joke Friday if everyone wants. I just kind of like bad jokes coming whenever people want to share them personally but hey...I will let you guys decide on that one. haha

Thanks for keeping the musings and Bad Joke Friday! I sincerely appreciate it and am truly HONORED! As for Bad Joke Friday, I always felt Friday would be the day to devote to "bad jokes," BUT, especially given the fact that people have different schedules AND so people didn't feel compelled to wait on a good joke...that everyone should/could feel free to post a joke any day...just Friday would be the "big day" for jokes! But, I can only speak for myself...and it is your thread after all. Does anyone else have any input?

i just think id feel like an idiot wearing a winter coat down here. me a northerner (a yankee if you will) walking around all bundled up. but then again i tend to lead to the stupid macho choice of being cold over being smart and safe.

I didn't like being cold when I lived in PA, living in Louisiana hasn't changed that! No matter how you slice it...20's, 30's, and 40's is COLD! Rather than think of myself as being any less macho...I like to think if myself of being a smart Yankee! Because such things are hard to find around here...I've actually been asked many times where I got my parka! It wasn't as cold the past 2 days though...and I went to my lighter weight Eagles jacket...yes THOSE Eagles!:anonymous

Trust me...there are dating sites for EVERY religion under the sun! I totally agree about religion. As a ***, I saw first hand that churches amount to little more than what I coined "houses of hypocrisy!" I always found it funny how so many claim to be Christians...though so few actually act accordingly! I believe one should try to live a good life and be a good person for the sake of doing so...and if there is a God or a Heaven...that is a bonus! But, Blockbuster AND RedBox not having any copies (they were all out)!?!? I finally got to see it (more than once) on cable! Like I said...Loved it!!!

You are really remarkable and you are one of the brightest stars I've had shine upon me...and I know you aren't even shinning at half capacity!

Something strange happened to me this weekend and it had me wanting to seek your insight and wisdom. When I was in New Orleans, on a few occasions I smelled the distinct odor of honeysuckle. Nothing odd about that...BUT everybody else said that they didn't smell a thing. My friends said I was crazy! My grandmother always grew honeysuckle outside her house while she was alive! If that wasn't strange enough...I got home and found that LITERALLY all of the apps on my iPhone AND iPod Touch were rearranged (like ALL of the apps are moved around...on different pages, etc.)!!! I don't know if spirits can make odors appear to only a select person(s) or not...but I definitely think someone is trying to send me a message again!

I'd like to send you a small token of my appreciation (something that is both practical AND I know you can and will use) and for you being such an awesome person...because if anyone deserves to have a little kindness sent your way...it's DEFINITELY you!!! Is there a business address or P.O. Box where I can safely have it sent (since they don't send them out electronically)? I want to do a little something for you for a change!

I wish you nothing but peace, love, happiness, and personal contentment Nikki!

Wow! A Category 5?! That's massive! It sounds like you're one of the lucky ones. I hope it all ends completely very soon. I'm sure you probabaly already know this but just in case you or someone else reding this doesn't I'm going to go into geek mode and let you knwo. I'm sure you;ve hear of the "polar shift". Basically the planet Earth is shifting on it's axis and is believed to be at the most extreme difference in close to 2 years time. It has already started however and right now the Earth is 23 degrees off of where it has been on it's axis our entire lives. That already 23 degree difference is the rason for much of the natural disasters that we have seen over the past few years and strange weather patterns. As it continues the polar ice caps will continue to melt and things all over the planet will change and be much different than what they were before. A lot of this info can be found on nasa.com along with info about how all of the planets in our solar system will be in a single file, straight line by the end of 2012 and the predictions of how that magnetic pull will affect us. It's all really quite fascinating and ....a little scary but I always say that it's better to be armed with info and prepared than the remaining ignorant and ill prepared. No one really knows what effect it will all have on us. There are ust theories and speculation but to me the most valdi ones are those being made by scientists who are basing their theories on scientific facts not all of the other crazy theories that pertain to anything. For those of you that didn't already know, I am a bit of a geek at heart and am always full of info. hahaha
Last night was Saturday night for example and what did I choose to do? I chose to stay at home and chill and watch a documentary on quantam evolution and neaurons in the human brain. hahahahaha

That's cool. I've also read some stories recently about how scientists are predicting solar storms in the next couple of years or so. And how it could interfer with the majority of the electronics we pretty much rely on these days like mobile/cell phones, GPS systems, etc. Then there was the story of how they think Betelgeuse is close to becoming a supernova and if it does how we could have light for 24 hrs a day for 2 weeks or something like that. Plus a story about an asteroid passing us by in the year 2029 which could be affected by the earth's gravity and scientists in Russia think it may come back and impact the Earth in 2036. Could be some scary times up ahead thats for sure. You're definitely spot on about being informed and prepared! I just hope Bruce Willis will still be alive and up for the challenge when this **** goes down so he can save the world again lol

All you have to do is send whatever you send and just let it go at that. You aloways do this hahaha. Ok the Lawrence Welk always showing up on your tv I can give some credit to, but you smelling honeysuckle and no one else smelling could be more about you just having a better sense of smell than anyone else. Not saying it's not possibly your grandmother. Just saying it is more probable that you have a better sense of smell than the company you were with. Don't overthink it.
