Random? No. He's just another white boy that will beat the fuck out any person on the planet that approaches him unapropriately, but of course there are tons of white boys like him. It's the Scandinavian look (on top of him being a warrior) that attracted my ****** and my ex to him (so they told me).

The Calzahge/Kessler fight was wack as fuck. I waited a long time for that fight, but was disapointed with the result. I loved both fighters because they were representing the white boys (and they did), but I wanted more. Kessler destroyed many a face before the Calzaghe fight, and I would've liked to have seen a rematch at least.

BDG..why are you making this Chinese arithmetic? Forget the technical nuances of the historical evolution. What it amounts to today is the perception some woman have of the so called alpha male sociotype or socionic.

Whether the guy is factually what he represents or not..is irrelevant to what he's perceived to be based on how he represents himself.

To that end, guys of whatever stripe who cast themselves or are perceived as the 'bad boy' type attract some women based on that. Why? I suppose it's because the carnal or basic instinct is that those types of guys are the strongest and ergo will beget protection, security and/or like offspring.

Putting the belief system of women and the credibility of their beliefs on trial is moot IMO as we know intellect is the last thing people in general use when it comes to physical attraction.

The reality is the reality.

Ending up at the knowns which are; Some pct of women gravitate to men they perceive are 'bad boys' and men they perceive are wealthy...lesser but not far down are the men they perceive are physically superior in terms of healthy/fit looking.

To that end...those outfacing characteristics are represented in many ways to them nowadays. From that, some women are just naturally going to pick and choose across racial, ethnic or otherwise distinctions.

This is not quantum mechanics, the end of the world nor the beginning of a new one.

That's why I said he was random. There a bunch of good white boxers nowadays. There are also a bunch of good Latino ones as well as a few good Asian ones<---little Manny Pacquiao being the best in the world P4P.

I know who he is because I follow Boxing, MMA, etc...but since your sisters and ex know who this guy is you assume the average chick knows who someone is even BDG considers random more so than the typical pop, rock, hip hop or movie star lame??

My guess is the sport is going to get more White and Latino and central Asian as the decade wears on. Especially in the former soviet states that are emerging you have people coming out of world class sporting programs that are hungry to make money in the ring. I don't think there will be too many white American fighters though (and probably the same with a lot of Americans in general) as young **** seem far more interested in MMA than boxing. Plus MMA has seed corn in the high school and college wrestling programs that boxing mostly lacks. Obviously not all MMA folks have a wrestling background, but many do.

I don't think he's overrated at all. Overrated would mean he is known like a legend in America, and like nine out of ten Americans would know him, but your average American doesn't know him.

We keep jumpin' here postin at the same time it seems, but I think it's going to take both WIlliams and Pavlik at least a fight or two to get back into the bigger discussion. But I am a huge Pavlik fan and hated seeing his last fight. Youngstown, Ohio, Midwestern white boy representin'.

I tend to agree with you but as a big time boxing fan...Kessler being consider the best of....pretty much speaks to how far the sport has fallen IMO (and it has).
