Good for him, best to quit while you're ahead.

I don't know who he is but I would pay to see him kick Mike Tyson's ass. Anything to beat down that once glorious fighter that I adored and once he fell from grace, so did any and all boxing fandom for me.

I dont see how you could be considered "one of the greatest" when he hasnt beaten anyone special.

An aged and well past his prime Roy Jones. :dunno:

The "greatest" in a already fallen sport!

Well he was a very good fighter ,but certainly not great.
A famous trainer once said that if a fighter is undefeated for his career he beat a bunch of nobodies.

I agree to an extent that one of his most impressive wins(SD) was against a 42/43 year old Bernard Hopkins.

A shot Roy Jones & Chris Eubanks perhaps who lost 5 of his last 9 fights I believe.

His resume is very thin.

Congratulations to him, although it does say something about where boxing is now when I have never even heard of the person until now.

Glad he left whilst undefeated. He was a very good fighter and if the best in his division couldn't compete with him then that is not his fault. He was becoming older and slower so he left whilst he was still the best in his division.

Yes, and he should have lost that fight, which shows what a total FRAUD he was, almost losing to a 43 year old past his prime Bernard Hopkins.

Calzaghe needed to fight more Americans and latin fighters to prove he was a great fighter. I don't think an American took him seriously and I'm not sure he'll be a hall-of-famer.

If he's smart he'll come out of retirement once theres a worthy opponent(which he won't because he knows he'll get beat because he's a fraud).
